What a delight! Cloth doll making's flamboyant spokesperson, elinor shares her creative process and challenges us to be creative as well. A highly inspirational book, it includes a magnificent fold-out "gallery" of dolls by such artists as Susanna Oroyan (see above), Sally Lampi, Antonette Cely, Collette Wolf, Miriam Gourley (see above), Lisa Lichtenfels, Virginia Robertson and of course, elinor herself. Includes modular pattern on which all the dolls were made.

A lovely book, particularly well suited to beginning cloth doll makers. Includes extensive information on dyeing doll fabric and dolls to achieve a rainbow of skin tones; the book is well worth buying for this feature alone. A nice selection of cute, play type dolls.
