I made these three witch pin dolls Halloween 2003 from a pattern by Lotus Vele. The purple one went to live with Sardonicus and the polka dot one lives with my mother. I kept the other one.

Evil Esther Evil Esther was made for Kathi Butler for the Mother Earth and Me swap on Fabricdollart. She is about 24" tall and has a yellow satin dress with midnight blue sparkled netting over skirt. Her shoes are hand painted and she holds a handmade broom and cauldron.


"Love Matters Most" She was made for Fran Parrigan Meehan in Las Vegas from a pattern by Stuff-N-Stitches She is from the raggedy swap on fabricdollart.

Dream This is an adaptation of Patti La Valley's "I dream of flying" that was featured in SD&A magazine. I decided that she should be a girl and I made her out of tan felt. Her hair is needled felted multicolored mohair.
Knobby Magoo This is Knobby Magoo done for a designer 2 years ago I think that I made this for a Lady named Kelly.....don't remember her last name
Galwyn Is an adaptation of Lisa Weiser's free fairy pattern done for the Midsummer Night Dream Swap on FOCD 2002. Galwyn now lives with Patti Struck.

La Chaz This is my first full sized original design. This doll was made by Sandra Corson, she tested him for me. The pattern will be released in 2003

Witch Exchange This is a witch made from the Mother Earth and Me pattern called 'Wicked Wanda' this doll now lives in Pacifica, CA with Sardonicus.

What ever I made this from Judi Ward's online class at Crafty College. I won this class in a contest sponsored by the Dollnet when I first joined FOCD back in 1999. I was thrilled.
Clara Bow This is Clara Bow I got the pattern out of a book but at the moment I can't think of the name. I made her for my great aunt who lives in Missouri and has an extensive doll collection.
Hindu cat This guy Hindu Cat was featured in SD & A magazine. I made him for a friend Christmas 2000 who is a practicing Hindu. I made him out of blue velour. One day I will make another.
Holly Holly Bag swap on Fabricdollart Christmas 2002. This is my version of the Holly Candy Bag designed by Sherry Goshon this doll traveled to England with 2 pounds of Hershey's kisses for my swap partner.
Vintage pin doll Every meeting that our club has has a theme for our pindoll exchange and this was made for the vintage pin doll swap. I had a hard time, because I kept thinking of vintage as being victorian or primitive. This little lady cried out to be a 1920's flapper girl. I really had fun working on this one.
Woman Challenge This doll was made for the Woman Challenge on fabricmagic. Everyone was given the same pattern designed by Di McDonald. I had a tough time with this piece, because I felt that it was abstract. I thought about it a long time before I actually got started. I finally decided that she should represent how I feel at this point in my life. My mother once told me that when I turned 30 I would finally know who I am. Well, I just turned 34 and I still don't know who I am, LOL. I feel like I am many different things. The cage represents life and all of its responsibilities and she is holding her heart outside of the cage because it represents her dreams. The spiraled notes coming from the top of her head show all the parts of her life and the many roles that she plays. Finally, she is faceless and has a question mark, because although she has several roles, she still has not found out who she is.

Gypsy This is from the first swap I ever participated in 1999. She is a gypsy from a pattern I got from a book.
Rain Forest Elf This was made using the pattern Rainforest Elf by Lynne Butcher.
Merlin He is the first doll I ever made. I made him with out a pattern. I drew a body on a piece of fabric. Then I sewed on the lines, by hand. This was before I had a sewing machine. His eyes are blue sparkly embroidery thread and his tunic is celestial fabric with gold chord belt, last but not least I hand sewed each strand of his mohair hair to his head because I had no idea what I was doing. He was a birthday gift for my mom that was part of a magical basket with handmade herb candles, incense and runes. She still has him in a safe place.
Tea Pot
